Venuley
Privacy Policy
Effective October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how REIDTECH, LLC ("Venuley", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Venuley website and app (the "Service"). Venuley is software for wedding venues: venue owners use it to manage bookings, staff, vendors, and vendor insurance certificates; couples and their collaborators use it to share vendor details with the venue they've booked.
Who this policy covers
Venuley has two kinds of users, and this policy applies to both:
•
Venue owners and their team members, who create a Venuley account and pay for a subscription.
•
Couples, wedding planners, and collaborators, who are invited by a venue and use Venuley for free to share information about their wedding.
•
Vendors are not Venuley users, but venues may enter a vendor's contact details and upload or request the vendor's certificate of insurance. Vendors who receive a request from a venue can upload a certificate through a link without creating an account.
Information we collect
We collect only what the Service needs to work.
•
Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored only as a one-way hash we cannot read).
•
Venue and business information entered by venue owners: venue names, locations, products and pricing, payment plan templates, staff names and contact details, and team member emails.
•
Wedding information entered by venues or couples: the couple's names and contact emails, wedding dates, guest counts, notes, and the vendors working the wedding.
•
Vendor information: vendor business names, contact details, and certificates of insurance (uploaded as files). Certificates may contain the vendor's business address and policy details.
•
Payment information: venue subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details; Venuley never sees your full card number. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
•
Usage and device information: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) and an activity log of actions taken inside a venue's account, which is visible to that venue's team.
How we use information
We use information to:
•
Provide the Service: show venues their bookings and vendors, show couples their wedding, route certificates of insurance to the right venue for review.
•
Send transactional email: invitations, password resets, reminders about missing or expiring certificates of insurance, trial and billing notices.
•
Bill subscriptions through Stripe and send required notices before a trial converts to a paid plan.
•
Keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
•
Comply with legal obligations.
Who can see what
Venuley is built so that each venue only sees its own data. Within a venue account:
•
A venue's team can see everything in that venue's account, limited by the access level (full or read-only) the owner assigns.
•
A couple can see their own wedding only: its vendors, certificate status, and the venue's requirements. Couples cannot see the venue's pricing, revenue, other weddings, or the venue's internal notes about vendors.
•
A collaborator a couple invites sees the same wedding, at the access level the couple chose.
•
A vendor who receives a certificate request sees only the request itself and the venue's name.
Service providers we share data with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with providers who help run the Service, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
•
Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage, hosted in the United States).
•
Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery).
•
Stripe (subscription billing for venue owners).
•
Resend (transactional email delivery).
•
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.
Email
We send transactional email only — invitations, reminders, security notices, and billing notices tied to your account. We do not send marketing email to couples, collaborators, or vendors. Venue owners may receive occasional product updates, which they can opt out of at any time.
Reminder emails to couples and vendors about certificates of insurance are sent on behalf of the venue, only when that venue has turned the feature on.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account, or the venue account you belong to, is active. Venue owners can delete their account from Settings, which permanently deletes the venue, its weddings, vendors, uploaded certificates, and staff records. Couples can delete their own account from Settings. Certain records (such as billing history) may be retained as required by law.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed. Access to each venue's data is enforced at the database level, not just in the app. On mobile devices, your sign-in session is stored in the device's secure keychain. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can update most information directly in the app. For anything else, email saasoftware.reid@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are a couple, collaborator, or vendor and your information was entered by a venue, we may direct your request to that venue, which controls that data.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Service.
Children
The Service is for adults running or booking a wedding venue. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify venue owners by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
